Norman Orrall running for state rep seat held by Keiko Orrall

LAKEVILLE — Norman Orrall, town moderator, is running for the state representative seat currently occupied by his wife, Keiko, in the 12th Bristol District.
On Tuesday, Republican Keiko Orrall announced her candidacy for state treasurer, running against Democrat Deb Goldberg.

“I have decided to become a candidate for the 12th Bristol district because I care deeply about the people and the communities of Berkley, Lakeville, Middleboro, and Taunton,” said Norman Orrall in a news release. “My broad experience in local government and as an engineer for 28 years provides knowledge of economic development, infrastructure related needs, creating jobs, and getting things done in state government.”

TAUNTON — Running for public office has become a family affair in the Orrall household.
​
A day after Keiko Orrall, R-Lakeville, announced that she’ll run as a candidate for state Treasurer, her husband Norman issued a press release announcing his bid to replace her as state representative of the 12th Bristol District.
​
The 12th district includes Berkley, Lakeville, East Taunton and the nearby precinct 3B in Taunton, as well as precincts 2, 4 and five of Middleboro, which sits in Plymouth County.
